Details Hand-made wooden recorder stand. Suitable for holding most recorders, from garklein, sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor to large bass instruments. It may also be used for flutes, baroque flutes, Native American flutes and other wind instruments. Its unique design makes this stand ideal for portability. It is compact and lightweight and is very stable when in use. Through a unique magnetic mechanism, the base indexes and remains in an open position making a stable and reliable support for your instruments. Through the same mechanism, the base indexes and remains closed, making the stand compact and portable for travel. Pegs are interchangeable and can be screwed into any of the 6 positions on the stand. For portability, the pegs unscrew and are stored in the stand's self contained compartment. All stands are available in 4 wood types: oak, curly maple, cherry and walnut. This stand comes in 3 stocked compartment sizes - Standard, Large and Extra large. The Standard size is most popular among recorder players. The Large compartment is best for players who need larger size pegs and the Extra large model is favored by renaissance players, owners of great bass recorders, and flute players for its ability to hold many larger size pegs. If one of the three sizes does not meet your needs we have a custom size designed to meet your needs. |

All Cross stands include a set of 6 pegs of the same wood type as your chosen stand. You can choose from a Recorder Peg Package, a Flute Peg Package, a Renaissance Recorder Peg Package or choose your own set of 6 pegs. Peg substitutions can be made to alter each package choice.*
